SU to Host Black History Month Program
In celebration of Black History Month, the Office of Diversity Programs at Southern Union State Community College has planned two programs in the month of February.
Christine Biggers of the National Parks Service will visit the College on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, and address this year’s national Black History Month theme, “Hallowed Grounds: Sites of African American Memories.” Ranger Biggers will speak at 11:00 a.m. in the Renaissance Theatre on the Wadley campus and on the Opelika campus at 3:00 p.m. in Room 104 of the Health Sciences Building. These lectures are open to the public and free of charge.
