The GED Test

Beginning January 2014, GED test takers will prepare for and take a newly designed computer based test.  The new test will maintain much of the same information as the 2002 version, but will also include critical thinking skills that help individual and employers to better determine our graduates’ skill sets and suitability for various types of employment.  And, as of March 1, 2016, the GED examination passing scores (decreasing from 150 to 145) were instituted for many states, including Alabama.
