Opelika

The Opelika library is currently located in the TB1 building during the renovation process.

The Opelika library opened in January 1995. It is a 10,000 square foot facility with a seating capacity of 100 and shelving space for over 30,000 volumes and houses more than 15,000 titles. The library also houses materials to support technical programs along with various recourses to support the array of programs offered in the Health Sciences Department.

There are six computers available to students for research purposes. A separate computer lab is available in the library for SUSCC students but students must have a valid student ID card for access. Free WIFI connections are accessible to students needing to connect their personal computers to the internet; nevertheless access is only available in the reading areas. Ten study carrels are located in various areas of the library for those students wanting more privacy with power outlets for the use of personal technical equipment.
