Instructions on how to drop a class

We offer four methods of instruction:

  • Traditional: Join us in class for face-to-face instruction.
  • Online: Access your class on a flexible schedule by taking an online course. A computer, webcam, microphone, and high-speed internet is required. Please keep in mind it is necessary to have the appropriate technology and you need the technical skills required of online students to be successful in this course.
  • Hybrid: The best of both worlds. Hybrid offers scheduling flexibility by combining online and face-to-face instruction.  Up to fifty percent of the class will be in the classroom, and the other part will take place online.  You need access to appropriate technology and you need the technical skills required of online students to be successful in this course.
  • Virtual: Classes meet on a traditional course schedule, but online instead of on-campus.  Students and instructors will be online at the same time during the scheduled class time. Students MUST be available to be online during scheduled meeting times in order to enroll in a virtual class.  Coursework and testing will take place through the Canvas LMS so you need access to appropriate technology and you need the technical skills required of online students to be successful.
