Bison Bound - New Student Orientation
Bison Bound is the official new student orientation of Southern Union State Community College for first-time students (excluding Dually Enrolled, Transfer, and Transient students) entering Southern Union for Fall 2024. New students, and up to two of their guests, may participate in a day of interactive informational sessions, parent and student panels, and of course new student registration!
Please Note: Due to construction on the Valley Campus, there will not be any sessions offered there this year. Valley students will need to register for one of the Opelika Sessions.
Regardless of which campus session you plan to attend, before your arrival, please complete the checklist below to ensure you are ready for Bison Bound:

- If you haven’t yet, please complete a SUSCC admissions application by clicking here
- Submit an official high school transcript to SUSCC Records showing your graduation date to admissions@suscc.edu
Students who have completed the steps above are able to register on their own prior to the event. Click here for more details on how to register on your own. If you register yourself, then during Bison Bound, you can meet with us to review your schedule and make sure your registered classes line up with your plan of study
