The Foundation encourages gifts for purposes such as scholarships and other awards to further the educational mission of the college. A gift to the Southern Union Foundation provides much-needed scholarships for students, expands student opportunities and helps to improve campus life and facilities. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of today’s and tomorrow’s students.
WAYS TO GIVE
GIVE EVERY YEAR
Annual gifts address the most pressing needs across the college. Gifts can include: cash, gifts of appreciated property, gifts of stock from privately held corporations, or gifts that can be directly used by the College. Gifts can be set up as recurring or through a pledge.
PARTICIPATE IN OUR ANNUAL FUNDRAISERS
There are several ways you can support our annual fundraising events such as sponsorships, individual and corporate tickets.
GIVE A GIFT THAT GROWS
Endowments establish permanent funds that make a yearly impact. The minimum amount to fund an endowment is $25,000. These funds are donor directed and may be used to support scholarships or programs. Donor may make a one-time gift or set up as a pledge.
MAKE A GIFT IN HONOR OR IN MEMORY OF SOMEONE
A tribute or memorial donation is a meaningful and hopeful way to honor someone special in your life while supporting the mission of the Southern Union State Communication College Foundation. We will notify the honoree or family member of your thoughtful gesture.
PLANNED GIFTS
Planned gifts will positively impact life at Southern Union for years to come. Planned giving is a way to integrate your personal, financial and estate planning goals. Some of the most common planned gifts include: bequests, charitable gift annuities and charitable remainder trusts, and life estates.
