The programs listed below meet the educational requirements for professional licensure or certification within the state of Alabama. Southern Union State Community College has not determined if these programs meet the educational requirements for licensure or certification in any other state, U.S. Territory, or the District of Columbia. 

Students and prospective students are strongly encouraged to contact the state’s licensure entity where they intend to practice using the program links provided to review all licensure and certification requirements of the state(s) of choice.

These disclosures are current at the time of publication however, requirements are subject to change at any time due to state law or regulations. Completing a professional program does not provide a guarantee that any particular state licensure or certification entity will approve or deny an application. Southern Union will not be held liable if a student is unable to qualify for licensure or certification in any other state, U.S. Territory, or the District of Columbia.
