Notice:  New Curriculum, Application Date, and Admission Entry for Summer 2024 

Application Deadline:  November 15th is the priority deadline.  Applications will continue to be accepted until class is filled.

Note: All prerequisite academic courses in curriculum be completed prior to program start date.

Accreditation:   The Surgical Technology Program has continuing accreditation status by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs ( upon the recommendation of the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs, 9355 -113th St. N, #7709, Seminole, FL 33775. Degree Earned:  Associate in Applied Science in Surgical Technology

Length of Program:  
Associate in Applied Science: Five semesters (60-69 semester hours) - Begins Summer 2024 

Note:  Total program hours may vary with optional SUR practicum courses.

Credentials Earned: Students who complete the Surgical Technology program are required to sit for the national certification exam.  The exam will be given at Southern Union upon completion of the program.
